Visiting

We're a Lutheran church, part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.  But more important than our affiliation, is our set of beliefs - you may find those here.

Like a lot of other groups in Lubbock, we are made up of native west Texans, other Texans and folks from all over the country.  Our church family is important to each and every one of us.  We'd love the chance to share the risen Savior with you and hope that you'll find our church to be a warm place to worship.
    What should I wear?
  • There is no dress code. You’ll see some people dressed in jeans and a polo, and others will be dressed in khaki shorts and a t-shirt. Come as you are!
What should I expect during the service?
  • Our services are generally about an hour long.

During the service, you'll receive a 15-20 minute message from our pastor.  His messages are timely and touch your life always based on God's Word.

We do worship with an outline to each service called the liturgy.  Every Sunday of the month is an easy to follow liturgy that has everything displayed on the screen.  For reasons why we worship with the liturgy you may choose to watch this explanation service of the liturgy.
What about my kids? Will they attend worship with me?
  • We highly value the importance of having children in the service.  Regularly our pastor has a special children's message portion of the service where the children come forward to hear a simplified message at their level.

We believe that worshipping together as a whole family is important, so children are always welcome.

We also know that sitting still for an hour can be tough on little ones, so you will find quiet, activity bags, along with a separate nursery, should you need them.
